my dining area
The bedroom was the first room in our house that got dolled up. I’ll show some photos of the renovation one of these days. Second was the dining area. And it was not even planned. For weeks after we moved in, I found myself quite content with our old dining set. I kept thinking that it would do for now. When extra money came, I was able to buy a dining table of my dreams. Chairs came after, at least, one by one. I knew what I wanted. I wanted a long table. I wanted mix-match chairs. I wanted something out of the ordinary. Not the ones you see in catalogues or showrooms. And I got what I wanted. It’s not yet there but it’s close.
