As I watched the news on TV this afternoon, I can’t help but feel bad for all those people who have lost their property and cherished loved ones to tragic accidents. Perhaps one of the most horrible news stories that I often see is about fire incidents. I always feel moved by those people weeping for their loss. Seeing a crying mother lamenting over her dead child is too excruciating for me. Being a mother myself, I could not imagine what life would be if I were in her shoes. The pain and sorrow of losing someone is just unbearable. No mother or no one should ever have to go through that. Things can be replaced. But lives lost is a different story. But the thing is we can practice fire prevention. Fire safety should always be top of mind and on top of everyone’s priority list.
Every day accidents and unfortunate things happen. That’s just a fact of life. Each one of us must be prepared for such emergencies at all times. Remember, we could earn back all the affluence but restoring a loved one’s’ life would be impossible.
That is why in times of great danger like a fire incident; we should learn to help ourselves avoid the possibilities of such unbearable loss. We must equip ourselves with appropriate information and tools that could save our lives and that of others. For instance, getting fire extinguishers found from fire protection online is one thing we could do to ensure our safety. Over the years, fire extinguishers have evolved depending on their utility purposes.
