happy weekend
Whatever your plans are,
I hope that you enjoy the rest of the weekend.
I’ll just be home with the family
watching Game of Thrones series while munching on sweets.
Happy Weekend, dearies.
Wherever you are.
summer, summer
I think there’s no other cocktail that screams summer than sangria. Of course, close second would be my favorite mojito and another close third is margarita. While summer in Manila promises to be the hottest one this year (so bring out your ceiling fans outdoor), there’s at least a proper way to cool down. Yes, you guessed it right….with a glass of sangria. And I have got some pretty delicious sangria recipes to share. Just click photos to go to recipes.
found: soap rock
Two of my favorites…precious and semi-precious stones or rocks and handmade soaps. Nope, you can’t wear this one though. But you can definitely lather up with it.

california dreaming
I’ve been dreaming about a trip to California. That’s where my sister and mom live. My sister is insistent that we come to visit. Well, we will someday. Right now, I’m just content with California dreaming and knowing fully well that I’d be able to make that dream come true in one or two years. I don’t know if California has lots of steel bridges or steel building. What I do know is it has beaches and mountains.

happy weekend
trees, comfy sofa. admit it, the photo makes you want to curl up in a sofa with hot cup of cocoa, tea or coffee and just read a good book. when was the last time you did?
happy weekend.
travel lists
Like I said in my previous post, I’ve been saving up for our Kota Kinabalu trip. But instead of just me and my little girl, my son and father would tag along this time which means I have to double or even triple our travel budget. Good thing there is money coming from different sources and I have about one more month to save up some more. And would you believe I even sent an email to the Sabah Tourism Board hoping to get free passes to the newly-opened North Borneo railway. I’m still waiting for a reply and I fear that it will never come. Along with our itinerary, I also made a list of the things we’ll bring which includes, snorkel, sunscreen, swimwear, comfy footwear as there would be lots of walking involved, and empty stomachs. Not on the list are jackets, boots, stroller travel systems (MG no longer needs it), and laptop as I intend to be offline while on vacation.
So that’s about it for now. Just one more month and off we go to Sabah.
